Participants talked about the importance of UNFPA-supported thematic funds—the Global Programme to Enhance Reproductive Health Commodity Security (GPRHCS), the Maternal Health Thematic Trust Fund (MTHF), the Unified Budget and Results Accountability Framework (UBRAF), and the UNFPA/UNICEF Joint Programme on FGM/C—at national level. Country-focused approaches, quick response and support were mentioned as important assets leading to positive changes in the area of health.

UNFPA responds to needs of 36,000 pregnant women displaced in Pakistan

Thousands of displaced families have been living for years in the Jalozai camp in Pakistan's Nowshera District, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
